PIE OF ORIGIN
MISSION & HISTORY.
Traditionally, Pie of Origin is an annual fundraiser where NSW and Queensland bakeries compete during the State of Origin rugby series to raise money for children’s hospitals in both states.
As the Official NSW Bakery, Glenorie Bakery proudly donates $1 from every pie sold to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, contributing to a combined total of $432,178 raised across both states. This year, we are mixing things up to raise even more awareness and funds for sick kids in need.
The campaign has received national media attention and support from political leaders and rugby legends. Backed by major sponsors like the NRL, Harvey Norman, and Manildra Group, Pie of Origin brings together communities, bakers, and sporting heroes to make a real difference in the lives of sick kids in need.
